Lot 3 Woodmere VladyVlady will give you great value early in the sale and give you a glimpse of the power that US Captain is going to add. Just the 2nd foal and first colt out of a Western Ideal mare whose family has produced Jennas Beach Boy and Atochia, both just shy of 2M. Vlady is our lead off hitter in the sale and the bidders will set Vlady’s new contract!

Lot 9 Woodmere YamamotoIf you like to take the conservative approach and just bet on sure shots then Yamamoto is your ticket. He has 5 brothers, 5 race winners, 3 of them in ‘53, and 1 in ‘49.3, 3. When it comes to money, there is one with over 1.1 million, another with over 260K, a 3 yr old of 2026 that has made 120k this year winning in 52.4. If that’s not enough, click Yamamoto’s trackit link and look at the depth his Somebeachsomewhere dam gives to the pedigree. Then take in the impact of the Beach-Bettors Delight cross on the breed. Yamamoto is special and hopefully, like his namesake, is just a step above everyone when the lights are shining brightest.

Lot 15 Woodmere RybakinaGorgeous filly that everyone will stop at. Whether you’re the type of buyer that likes to look at the book and sort your list by pedigree, or you like to look at the individual conformation then look at the pedigree- Rybakina will make both buyers lists! If you had the opportunity to watch Rykakina’s dam and sire race then being fast 'as light' is a given and being ‘tough enough’ is a guarantee.

Lot 40 Woodmere Dr DoyleWith the withdrawal of our Lot 153, Dr Doyle represents the only opportunity to buy into Stealdeal’s family. A long but thicker made filly, Dr Doyle is also the first cross of SBSW into this maternal line. If you want to slide a bit deeper into breeding you’ll bring in Yankee Crusier on her dams side which is the sire of Sweet Lou and recognize the potential that brings when put in the blender with the Captaintreacherous lane. Dr Doyle will make your list of fabulous fillies in the sale!

Lot 79 Woodmere FloydAlthough there has been a great group of colts chasing Woodmere RockIt, Fergus has come the closest to knocking off his pasture mate. The pedigree gurus will have figured out that Floyd and Fergus’s dam is sired by The Panderosa; the same maternal grand sire as RockIt, plus the alignment of Cam Fella and Abercrombie as you go deeper. Floyd is super athletic colt that videoed well. Although well documented that Floyd’s dam is a sister Bulldog Hanover, what doesn’t show up on the sale page is that the 2nd dam is a sister of Betterthancheddar, Courtly Choice and Ashlees Big Guy. Special families make special colts!

Lot 85 Woodmere OhtaniWhen your dam is a Somebeachsomewhere sister to I Luv The Nitelife, you get on most buyers' short lists. Then add that the dam is not only 5 for 5 to the races but they all have won in ’55 or better with 3 winners in 1:53 including Lou Grant 1:49.1 RT1:48.2. With Ohtani’s siblings averaging $120,000 in earnings, we think this long, well-muscled colt will give buyers great value.
Ohtani had OCD fragments removed from both hocks on March 12, 2026. |
Lot 91 Woodmere YokoIf you go stall to stall at our consignment area, Yoko is one that will make you stop. Just the 3rd foal out of our Always A Virgin mare, Do U Mind. She herself was a winner at two years old in 1:55 and went on to win in 1:52.4 while surpassing $225,000 in earnings. Her dam is an artsplace full sister to the dam of Deperate Man $2.39M. Yoko is a wide chested, long athletic filly that has the look of a champion.

Lot 103 Woodmere Osaka
A one-pager in the catalog usually means excellence... like a dam that is 12 for 12 with 2 sub 1:50 performers, and offspring that have earned over $2,000,000! Stop and compare the catalog, then check out Osaka; a long, racey looking filly. This family has impact, they all race no matter the sire and we think Tuffie adds speed, looks, and value into one of the deepest pedigrees in the catalog.
Osaka had OCD fragments removed from both hocks on June 30, 2026. |
Lot 134 Woodmere Mad Max
Sometimes the eyes don’t align when we look back 3 years at our breeding decisions, but sometimes just like other facets of the industry, we get unlucky. Fiesta had given us 2 absolutely gorgeous Bet the Moon fillies. With her being a big mare, the foals were long legged and had plenty of stretch. Ironically, although both fillies suffered injuries in their young careers, both have been retained as broodmares.
Max has that special colt look; he is wide muzzled, well muscled colt. From the same family that produced Lou Print and Hypnotic Blue Chip, we think there’s too much paper and too much colt and that our luck has a better chance to realign than Mad Max’s eyes! |
Lot 142 Woodmere Ernie
Wild Ride was our first venture into harness racing in 2011, a winner of $291K she was a fantastic race mare and has been a 100 percent producer from a variety of stallions. Although most of her foals have been stamped with Wild Ride’s fire and smaller stature, we are fortunate that Ernie has the Captaintreacherous look. Ernie is a clean boned, long necked, graceful moving colt.
Ernie will give you budget value late in the sale and will be a favourite in his new home. |

U S Captain
If the excitement swarming around his one and only 2 yr old colt is any indication, then US Captain could be the stallion we’ve been seeking! Hawaiian Warfare is the dominant 2 yr old in Delaware, winning 5 of 6 starts, and will be the heavy favourite heading into the $110,000 USD final on Oct 12. Although much is yet to revealed, when a stallion has a small sample of 4 foals and one of them is the best 2 yr old colt in Delaware, then it’s worth noting.
US Captain now resides at Wai Eyre farm in New Zealand where at $3000.00 USD he bred 96 mares, which is third in the country behind Downbytheseaside and Sweet Lou for mares bred in NZ! |
Twin B Tuffenuff
Unless you’ve just started following local racing in the last few days, then Tuffie needs no introduction. On the top side of his pedigree, he brings the Rocknroll Hanover influence and the bottom brings in his dam being a sister to Big Jim. On the track, Tuffie was super at 2, winning his elimination of the Metro in 1:51.1 before finishing 4th in the final. Arriving on PEI at age 7, Tuffie is still taking on all comers at the age of 11. The double duty sire has 239 starts, 54 wins, $854K made! Don’t miss his offspring, they look incredible.

Bet The Moon
At this point Bet the Moon will have some that will take a pass, which will provide great value to buyers looking for colts that can finish in the top 3 in the Breeders Crown or set a track record for 2 yr colts in Summerside.
The three in our consignment have plenty of upside! |
